Eclectic, Genre-Busting Fiction

Oddly, this week’s post didn’t happen as I didn’t feel up to anything.

crowe-on-irwin-appalling_on-raincoasterOne says ‘oddly’ because the amount of typing I’ve done in the comments section of this post over on Raincoaster’s blog is far and away more work than a post here would have been. That said, one had far more fun there than my post here would have been.

Pop over and watch the fun.

A foolish, colonial child appears to have locked grammatical horns with you. Whilst I realise that my spelling and grammar are not the best at times, I certainly wouldn’t try to defend such an indefensible position as Mr Shark Lover on Raincoaster’s Blog.

Still, I have an excuse for the poor quality of my writing, seeing as I was nearly Dr Cottrell, but for a quirk of fate. You should see my handwriting, even the Rosetta Stone wouldn’t help you with that. I was considered to be one of the better students in my English classes at school (spelling was always atrocious though). But as with anything I guess, if you don’t use it, you loose it.

I did however manage to leave school with a larger than average haul of A-Levels, so I can’t be too bad at getting my point across. I have also just used said qualifications to get a new and better job. All good stuff really.

I didn’t realise you went to a Catholic school Ian. From my preconception of the way they are run, it doesn’t seem to fit with your love of the arts. But that is probably just from my ideas of how monks run schools and I only have hear say evidence of that in the UK.
